Do I need a payment method for Free?
No. Free lets you use one live profile and store up to 20 journal trades without paying.
What happens after I reach 20 stored trades?
You can delete an unwanted trade to free a slot or upgrade to Chronicle+ for unlimited journal trades.
Does Chronicle Trading connect to my broker?
No broker login is required for the journal or backtesting workflow.
How does automatic screenshot capture work?
When a simulated backtest trade closes, Chronicle Trading can save its execution chart automatically. You can also start chart and selected timeframe captures yourself for journal evidence. It does not continuously record live broker activity.
Is AI included in Chronicle+?
No. AI Coach and AI trade analysis are Chronicle Pro features, with 200 Chronicle Credits resetting monthly during paid access. New trade analyses cost 1 credit plus 1 per chart image or selected backtest OHLC timeframe. Verified trade-analysis follow-ups use one base credit, even with selected charts. Deep Coach and Analyze All use five base credits; Trader Summary costs five credits regardless of reasoning effort. Low uses 1×, High 2×, and Max 3×. A generated chart and its matching timeframe count once.
Where are my trades and screenshots stored?
Chronicle Trading uses a local desktop journal. Your trades, charts, and screenshots stay on your computer. Your online account holds access and subscription information.
What happens if I cancel a paid plan?
Future renewal stops. Your paid features normally remain available through the end of the paid period, then your plan returns to Free. Your local journal data is not automatically deleted.
Can I get a refund?
Payments are ordinarily nonrefundable for a change of mind or unused time. We review billing errors, service problems, and other requests individually, without limiting rights under applicable law. See the refund and cancellation policy.
