CHRONICLE POLICIES
Refunds and cancellation
How to stop renewal and how payment concerns are reviewed.
Cancel future renewal
Sign in to your Chronicle Trading account and select “Cancel subscription,” or manage the automatic payment through your payment provider. A confirmed cancellation stops future renewal. Your paid features normally remain available through the end of the period already paid for. Cancellation is not the same as a refund, and it does not erase locally stored journal files. If cancellation fails or your account cannot be accessed, contact support@chronicletrading.com promptly.
Ordinary refund rule
Monthly and annual subscription payments are ordinarily non-refundable for a change of mind or unused time in a paid period. Forgetting to cancel before a renewal does not automatically create a refund entitlement. This rule does not remove any remedy you may have under applicable law for an incorrect charge, service failure, or other legally protected circumstance.
Human review of payment concerns
We review duplicate or incorrect charges, reported service problems, and other refund requests individually. We may also approve a discretionary refund after review. Email support@chronicletrading.com with your Chronicle Trading account email, payment, order, or subscription ID if available, charge date, and a short explanation. Do not send your password or full card details. We will check the account and payment-provider record and explain the outcome. A refund is not automatic merely because a request was sent.
If a renewal payment fails
If a recurring subscription charge fails, paid features may remain accessible for a three-day grace period while the payment is resolved. If it is not recovered, access returns to Free under its limits. Your local journal files are not automatically deleted.
After an approved refund
An approved refund may change the paid access linked to that payment. We will confirm any cancellation or access change for the account involved. If access was suspended for security or account-sharing review, suspension alone does not cancel recurring billing; contact us so billing and any refund request can be addressed separately.
