The service and trading decisions

Chronicle Trading is a desktop trading journal and backtesting tool with an online account for access and billing. It does not place trades, hold brokerage funds, or require your broker login for journaling. Charts, statistics, backtests, and AI output support reflection and learning; they are not personalized financial advice or a promise of trading results. You remain responsible for your own decisions and for checking the accuracy of entries and outputs before relying on them.

Your account and devices

Provide accurate account information and protect your password. Your account is for your own use. You may authorize desktop devices you use, but you must not share credentials or let another person use your account as their own. Having more than one device is not, by itself, a violation. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You can revoke your sessions and desktop devices from your account dashboard.

Security review and access controls

If account or device activity gives us a reasonable basis to suspect sharing, unauthorized access, or abuse, we may review the activity, revoke device sessions, or temporarily suspend online access while we investigate. An administrator records a reason for these actions. Contact support@chronicletrading.com if you believe an action was mistaken. Suspected activity is not automatically proof of wrongdoing. Suspending Chronicle access does not itself cancel recurring billing; billing and any refund request must be reviewed separately under the refund and cancellation policy and applicable law.

Plans, credits, and payment

Free has limited features. Paid plan prices are shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout. Chronicle Pro includes 200 Chronicle Credits resetting monthly during confirmed paid access for hosted AI requests. Unused credits do not roll over. AI request costs vary with the number of evidence units and reasoning level, as explained on the pricing page. Administrators may grant temporary access or adjust a Pro credit balance without changing recurring billing. The payment provider shown at checkout handles subscription payment and renewal; no paid subscription starts merely by creating a Free account.

Cancellation and refunds

Paid subscriptions renew monthly or yearly, according to the option selected at checkout, until cancelled. You can cancel future renewal in your account dashboard or through your payment provider. Paid access normally continues through the period already paid for; cancelling does not automatically refund that payment. Read the refund and cancellation policy for the ordinary no-refund rule, support review, and legally required remedies.

Your local data and permitted use

Your journal files are stored locally during normal use. Keep your own backup before reinstalling the app, changing computers, or deleting files. Ending a plan or online account does not erase local journal data. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or use another person's account. Chronicle Trading does not claim ownership of the entries and images you create in your local journal; an AI request sends selected content only to deliver the requested analysis as described in the Privacy Policy.

Contact and policy changes

For account, billing, or policy questions, contact support@chronicletrading.com. Updated Terms will carry a new version; we will provide any notice or renewed agreement required by applicable law before a material change applies. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under applicable law.
